2019 Custom Photographic Tours & Safaris

Prices Tailored to your needs

We offer custom photo safaris for people with specific requests, for small groups of friends or camera club members, and for people who might not have the length of time available to join one of our scheduled photo safaris.

Scheduled photo safaris are my first priority, but if I am available, I will accompany custom photo safaris to offer photo tuition. If I am not available at the time you would like to travel, then unfortunately there would not be the option of photographic tuition available. However, we could still arrange a photographic safari for you that would include excellent photographic opportunities with professional guides who are sensitive to the needs of photographers.

We also arrange a number of private photo safaris for experienced photographers who simply do not want photographic tuition. This helps to cut the cost of the trip, and you will get access to our experience in setting up photo-specific itineraries that include the best and most photo-productive locations in Africa. Allow us to take care of all the photographic details and travel logistics for you so that you can concentrate solely on photography.

Please fill out the enquiry form found alongside. Be sure to describe what it is you would like to focus on, the number of people in your group (or whether travelling alone), where you would like to go (which country / reserve), what level of accommodation you are happy with (basic, standard or luxury) and the expected duration of your trip.

If you have a specific set of dates you want to enquire about, please enter them into the main "Enquiry" box along with the rest of your enquiry.

We will get back to you with the most relevant information based on your specific needs.

Testimonials This was simply an outstanding photographic safari all round – by far the best that I have been on! As a keen enthusiast photographer, looking to step up a level with view to entering 2 competitions later in the year, I could not have hoped for more. Excellent ! The family based Wild4 team is personable and friendly and went the extra mile all the way through. They are very well organized and their prompt and helpful responses to queries pre-trip ensured they were easy and a pleasure to deal with.  Stu Porter can pitch his photographic tuition at any level and his attention to detail and enthusiasm was spot on throughout this trip. I was surprised by just how much I learn’t because I was quite comfortable with my photo technique on arrival. I have easily adopted his full-on manual approach, every bit of which he was able to justify - a revelation! I am quite picky, but I cannot praise these guys enough and I will be back.  Very many thanks to the whole team.

Testimonials Kruger North to South 16 days of photo safari gone off like a wink of an eye especially when it was fun and memorable. Like an aciton-packed movie, the opening scene at the Skukuza Airport reception by Wild4 Team : Stefan and Sandrine was delightful and the afternoon game drive was filled with excitements with shots of wildlife encountered as we travelled to our first camp in Satara. The numerous sightings we experienced over the next two weeks were nothing less than thrilling and of course capturing the Big 5 was fulfilling. The teamwork of Stefan and Sandrine was excellent giving the traveling photographers absolutely nothing to worry except to be trigger happy. Each day I shot approximately 1,500 images as each day bought new surprises. As a photographer I used the Sony A9 with the 2x teleconverter on the 100-400mm G Master zoom for distant & fast-moving subjects like eagles' flights, lions, leopards, rhinos and the smaller birds in flights while my Leica SL on a APO Vario Elmarit 90-280mm zoom for intermediate distance subjects like elephants, hippos, zebras, Impalas, Kudus and various animals within close quarters of the vehicle, and finally my Leica Q for the panoramic shots of landscape and daily point and shoot. A memorable trip ending with almost 4 TB of mobile hard disk storage. I will re-live my memories when I sort out the images and I look forward to my next trip with Stu on the Tanzania & Elephants of Amboseli and many other trips with Wild4.
