Pangolin Photo Boat on the Chobe River - Botswana
Posted by Wild4 Photo Safaris on 7th Jul 2019
Short Video showing the amazing Pangolin Photo Boat that we use on the Chobe River in Botswana
The Pangolin Photo Boat is by far the BEST way to photograph when you are visiting the Chobe River in Botswana. The team at Pangolin are fantastic and their amazing boat captains know how to manoevre the boats to get you into great positions to photograph the birds and mammals that are found along the Chobe River.
The adjustable photo brackets and gimbal are already on the boat, and if you are bringing your own equipment, all you have to do is mount your Telephoto Lens and enjoy. If you don't have your own equipment, the team at Pangolin Photo Safaris will provide you with a camera, lens and free memory card, which you take with you at the end of your stay.
A stay at the Chobe River is always great, but doing it with Pangolin on their special boat, turns this stay into a huge highlight!

I have enjoyed photographic safaris in Kenya, Tanzania, and South Africa but I cannot express how GREAT the “BEST of BOTSWANA” trip was. The different areas on the delta all had amazing animals and diversity of climate from Moremi to the river environment of Khwai and then to the sand and dryness of Savuti. But the the time spent on the Chobe River was the best experience I have ever spent in Africa. Stu, Justyna you are the best! Thanks also to Letaka, Pangolin and our great guides. I would highly recommend this safari to everyone. It's a buffet of Africa you will never forget.

This was truly a fantastic safari. The camping experience gave us the feel of being closer to nature as opposed to being in a lodge without really roughing it and the camp food was superior to the lodge buffets. The photographic opportunities were great throughout the safari and our time on the Chobe River was exceptional. As a veteran of 13 safaris to other locations in Africa I can say this was fantastic.
