WILD4 Specialist Photographic Vehicle - Kenya

A short video launch of our professionally modified photographic 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser. The first one of its kind in Africa !! Built especially for serious nature photographers.

We are very proud to announce the launch of our first Kenyan photographically modified safari vehicle, which will be available for use on both our scheduled and custom designed photo safaris within Kenya.

Our previous clients will know how we have pioneered the way to provide photographic supports on vehicles for photographers. Our professional adjustable photobar and beanbag systems that we use on safari vehicles in Botswana, Kruger, Mala Mala, Namibia and Tanzania offer a comfortable solution to the challenges of using heavy telephoto lenses. With the launch of our latest photographically modified safari vehicle, we have taken these photographic modifications to a new and even more professional level.

The vehicle was purchased in 2016 and the unique photo modifications were done in March 2017. We then took the vehicle for a test run to Tsavo, East, West and Amboseli in Kenya, in early July and not only did the vehicle prove to be better than we had hoped, we will also be launching a new tour to include Tsavo, Amboseli and the Masai Mara. The first of these trips will be run in 2018, details of which will be posted soon.

The vehicle has been modified specifically for photography and here are just some of the special features that it offers:

> More comfortable and more spacious than other vehicles
> Specially designed seat back pockets for photographic equipment
> Comfortable seated and standing shooting positions
> Seated shooting height can be adjusted based on how tall you are
> Professional beanbags and panning plates are provided
> A Gimbal can be attached (but not provided)
> Re-charging facilities on board
> Roll back canvas roof for unobstructed views
> Roll up canvas sides for better field of view when seated
> Unique rain protection system allows for photographing in the rain
> Ready to use GoPro / Action Camera mounting points
> Comfortable reclining seats
> Maximum of only 3 photographers with access to both sides of the safari vehicle

After 15 years in the industry focusing purely on small group photographic safaris, I believe that this is without doubt the most unique and versatile photo safari vehicle in Africa !

We look forward to welcoming you in Kenya !

Testimonials Many thanks for a fantastically organised photo safari. The attention to detail, not to mention your patience & enthusiasm (and humour) has made the trip superb. We're delighted we chose Wild4. Kind regards.

Dom & Jules, UK

Testimonials I am a Molecular Biologist by profession and a serious amateur nature photographer and have been on a number of organized trips over the last 10 years with the dual aims of enjoying nature and getting the best images possible. The organization of a two week trip with Wild 4 Photographic Safaris through Kruger National Park I shared with two other photographers and it was as good as I have ever experienced. The Porter family was friendly, knowledgeable and intuitively supportive. Stu really knows his subjects and spared no effort in getting the photographers into the best situation. He has a very pleasant, calm personality and is an accomplished nature photographer and naturalist which means he knows where the light or action is best and often what is about to happen. His vehicle is also well set-up for discriminating photographers. Justyna was just brilliant in getting things organized in the background. Having our own scout vehicle to report activity in the area while we pursued other subjects, worked well, and on a number of occasions provided photo opportunities we would have missed otherwise. In summary; rating out of 10…….no doubt a 10.
