ABOUT WILD4 PHOTO SAFARIS

Wild4 PHOTO SAFARIS is a family owned and operated company based in Nelspruit, a mere 40 mins from the world renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa.

The company specializes in small group, photo safaris with a personal family touch.

Over the past 7 years, Wild4 has organised and led over 65 photo safaris to various destinations in Africa.

STU PORTER

Stu's passion for African Wildlife led him to become a qualified FGASA Field Guide and THETA Tourist Guide. Stu also obtained a BA (Hons) Degree in Wildlife Photography at Blackpool & the Fylde College, an associate college of Lancaster University in the United Kingdom.

This combination makes him unique amongst photo tour leaders and has helped him achieve his long-held dream of operating his own photo tour company.

Stu's images have been published in Outdoor Photography (UK), Getaway (SA), Africa Wild (SA), 50/50 Veld Focus TV show (SA), Fuji Film awards (SA) and National Geographic Website. They are also for sale through ALAMY PICTURE LIBRARY

JUSTYNA PORTER

Justyna is responsible for all the administration at WILD4.

Born and bred in Poland, Justyna went to work and study in the UK in 1993.
Having worked on a first class cruise liner, as well as in the world famous Harrods in London and as a top seller for the UK's largest travel consolidator, customer service is just one of her many strong points.

Justyna is a very handy photographer herself and her love of the African Bush led her to become a qualified tourist guide.

ANN PORTER

Ann retired from teaching in 2000. Her love of wildlife since her early years in Zimbabwe, led to the family passion for the outdoors and the African bushveld.

Since her retirement, Ann has thrown herself whole heartedly into logistical support and catering. Her organisational skills ensure that things run smoothly behind the scenes in the field.

She is also a qualified field guide.

JOHN PORTER

John retired as a headmaster on his return from Zambia in 2000 and retrained as a tourist and field guide. His responsibilities include vehicle preparation and upkeep, transferring clients when neccessary and driving the second photo safari vehicle in the Kruger Park.

John knows what photographers are looking for and can position them advantageously for those most interesting and unique shots. John and Stu team up in the field and are always in radio contact, sharing information. They combine their patience and knowledge of wildlife to get the most out of sightings for their photographic clients.

MOLLY PORTER

Molly was born on the 3rd November 2008 in the middle of a typical African thunderstorm.

Molly's dad hopes that she will soon be actively helping out in the business, but at the moment Molly loves to read wildlife books and her favourite animal is the giraffe !

JENNY PORTER

Jenny is the newest member of the WILD4 team, born on the 23rd Feb 2011. Jenny adores her older sister and has a permanent smile on her face :)
