About Wild 4 - Stu & Justyna Porter

Wild 4 is a family owned and operated company based in Nelspruit, a mere 40 mins from the world renowned Kruger National Park in South Africa. Nelspruit, approx 4.5 hrs drive east of Johannesburg, is the capital of the Mpumalanga Province, which together with the Western Cape, are the two most popular tourist destinations in South Africa.

Having grown up in Africa, Stu's love for wildlife began at an early age. Many hours were spent watching the astounding array of birds, mammals and reptiles that live on the vast continent, but his attraction to capturing them on film, began with a series of photo's taken by Wildlife Photographer Dick Reucassel. The pictures told the story of a Hippo’s extraordinary rescue of an Impala from the jaws of a Crocodile. From that point on he was hooked !
Stu's passion for African Wildlife led him to become a qualified FGASA Field Guide and THETA Tourist Guide. Stu also obtained a BA (Hons) Degree in Wildlife Photography at Blackpool & the Fylde College, an associate college of Lancaster University in the United Kingdom. Stu's images have been published in Outdoor Photography (UK), Getaway (SA), Africa Wild (SA), 50/50 Veld Focus TV show (SA) and Fuji Film awards (SA). A qualified guide and photographer, Stu has managed to blend his two greatest passions, and loves sharing these with people of all skills.


Justyna is responsible for all the administration and logistic support. Not only does she deal with this very important part of the trip, Justyna, who is also a qualified guide, accompanies the Safaris in a backup vehicle and smoothly checks everyone in and out of accommodation, prepares delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners and acts as WILD 4's own personal animal spotter, exploring different roads and radios in any special sightings to the photographic vehicle.
Born and bred in Poland, Justyna went to work and study in the UK in 1993. Having worked on a first class cruise liner, as well as in the world famous Harrods in London and as a top seller for the UK's largest travel consolidator, customer service is just one of her many strong points.
Justyna is a very handy photographer herself and her love of the African Bush led her to become a qualified Tourist guide.
